Friday, Nov. 29 starting at 6:30 pm- Lighting of the courthouse, fireworks, and street dance featuring Bob Appel
Saturday, Nov. 30 starting at 6:30 pm-Lighted Hooves and Wheels Parade.
Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30-Chuck Wagon Food Court, rides for kids, and the Garden Club’s Christmas ornament sale. All proceeds from the Garden Club ornament sale go toward an education scholarship.
Friday, Nov. 29-Sunday, Dec. 1-Holiday Market. Market hours on Sunday: 10 am-4 pm.

Friday, Dec. 6 at 8 pm-Blanco County Community Choir performs 'Sounds of the Season". The concert will be held at Community Church of the Hills, 212 Klett Ranch Rd, Johnson City.
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 6 pm-9 pm-Lamplight tours and a Frontier Christmas at the LBJ Boyhood Home located at 200 E. Elm St in Johnson City.
Saturday, Dec. 7-Annual Hill Country Toy Run kicks off their ride to Cherokee, Texas where they will be delivering Christmas to Cherokee Home for Children. For more information: hctrpigroast.com
Friday, Dec. 6-Saturday Dec. 7 and Friday, Dec. 13-Saturday, Dec. 14 from 6 pm-9 pm-The Living Nativity presented by the First United Methodist Church at 105 N. LBJ Drive, Johnson City. Program starts every half hour. Hot cocoa and cookies provided between performances. (rain or shine)
Saturday, Dec. 14 from 6 pm-9 pm-1920's style Christmas with lamplight tours at the LBJ Boyhood Home located at 200 E. Elm St. in Johnson City.
Saturday, Dec. 14 from 4 pm-8 pm-Johnson City Art Walk-Meet the artists and enjoy socializing with various artists, spirits and snacks, as as you view the artistic elements of our distinct galleries at their Annual Holiday Open House!
Sunday, Dec. 15 from 5:30 pm-8 pm-50th Annual LBJ tree lighting ceremony at the LBJ State Park & Historic Site.
Saturday, Dec. 21 from 6 pm-9 pm-Visit Whoville and meet the Grinch, Max, & Cindy Lou Who
*Every Friday and Saturday from Nov. 29-Dec. 21, 6 pm to 9 pm-Free photos with Santa in the Memorial Park gazebo located at Hwy. 290 and Ave. G.
*Every Thursday-Sunday night, horse drawn carriage rides provided by the Buggy Barn Museum-$15.00/person (children under 5 free), couple only/$40.00. Group rates are also available by contacting the Buggy Barn at 830-833-5708. Pick up on Ave. G between Pecan St. and Hwy. 290. When the Trolley is available, the fee is $10.00 per person.

Living Nativity at the Methodist Church
Every night throughout the festival, Nov. 29-Jan. 5, 2020 from 6 pm-11 pm, visitors can hitch a ride on a tractor pulled hayride offered by the Antique Tractor Club to view the lights while sipping hot chocolate. Rides are by donation and pick up and drop off are across from the Pedernales Electric Cooperative headquarters. Just follow the glow!
Who wants to meet the Grinch, pet Max, and talk to Cindy Lou Who?
On December 21st, make plans to visit Whoville! Meet the Grinch, Max, and citizens of Whoville. Whoville is located on the courthouse square at the corner of Ave. G and Cypress.
